45 Point Recurring cleaning checklist

General Living Areas and Bedrooms

  • Sweep and mop floors to remove debris and scuff marks.

  • Remove cobwebs from corners on floors and ceilings (up to 8 feet high from floor level).

  • Wipe down and dust furniture in family/TV room using a damp microfiber cloth, vacuum between sofa and loveseat cushions.

  • Dust all shelves and tables, dust picture frames and other decorative items.

  • Dust all windowsills & door frames.

  • Dust all table lamps and standing light fixtures (up to 8 feet high from floor level)

  • Dust and clean baseboards on all levels.

  • Clean doorknobs and light switches.

  • Remove all trash & recycling throughout the home and place in trash receptacles outside; replace trash bags and wipe down interior and exterior of all trash cans with disinfectant.

  • Dust ceiling fan blades (up to 8 feet high from floor level).

  • Spot-clean all walls and vertical surfaces.

  • Dust all blinds (up to 8 feet high from floor level).

  • Windows cleaned with window cleaner (up to 8 feet high from floor level).

  • Pet cages wiped on the outside with pet friendly cleaner (if applicable).

 

Kitchen

  • Clean all countertops with disinfectant.

  • Clean and wipe down outside of refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and small appliances.

  •  Clean inside of microwave to remove all food, debris, and stains.

  • Clean stove top, including drip pans to remove all food, debris, and stains. For glass stove tops, use a glass cooktop cleaner (no ammonia-based products).

  • Clean baseboards with damp cloth.

  • Dust light fixtures (up to 8 feet high from floor level).

  • Wipe exterior of cabinets with a damp microfiber cloth.

  • Clean sink and faucets with disinfectant.

  • Dust all windowsills.
